On the eightieth edition of Reality Bomb, while we’re all still in lockdown during a global pandemic, we decided to do another episode of Reality Bomb live on Zoom. We talk about the stand up and cheer moments we love in Doctor Who. The 2003 webcast Scream of the Shalka with Richard E Grant comes to the Gallery of the Underrated. And we play a game where you have to guess what scene from Doctor Who is being (badly) acted out! Plus… Pam Brandeis: Fan Attorney has a case to win on Zoom!
Listen now!
We also have a video version of this episode if you want to watch!
And if you want to watch a version of the video that has all the clips that YouTube’s algorithm made us take out, you can download this version.
OK, my stand up and cheer moments were/are: “No, Sir; All THIRTEEN!”, “…Hello Sweetie” in “The Husbands Of River Song”, The confirmation of all of those images of The Doctor in The Brain Of Morbius” in Series 12’s “The Timeless Children”, Old Eleventh Doctor’s taunting speech, in the midst of his new regeneration cycle, and destroying the DALEK ship (“You want my life? Come And Get IT!”), the actual change from the Eleventh Doctor to the Twelfth, Bad Wolf Rose, The Eighth Doctor reveal in “Night of The Doctor”, Ace being smart enough to misdirect her escape(?) in “The Greatest Show In The Galaxy”, The Ninth Doctor telling The Daleks “No…” in “Bad Wolf”, AND the close-up of Rose at the end of “Partners In Crime”. WOOPS…Hold it! Hooolld It… Sarah Jane finding the T.A.R.D.I.S. IN “School Reunion”. I’m going to stop now.
